During the academic year 2017-2018, 5 students follow the 3rd year (3A) switching between school and entreprise (co-operative education) in a way of a professionnalization contract . In practice, the planning is arranged specifically for these students to have several days in the company. The sharing is based on periods of acquisition of know-how in the company (2 days per week) and periods of theoretical training at UPSSITECH (3 days per week). The students then spend full-time in company during the period mid January-August.

This co-operative education allows for the company :

  • to train people in the trades of the company,
  • to pre-recruit and facilitate integration of future employees,
  • to anticipate retirement and turn over,
  • to renew and reinforce skills in the company.

Given the request of industrial partners and students, we plan to extent to 10 to 12 co-op students for the academic year 2018-2019.
