STAND’UPS Robotique Logo_stand_UPS

Thanks to the SRI training, this student association, called STAND’UPS Robotique, was created within the Paul sabatier University with the objective to promote robotics and also the SRI training.
The club is addressed in the CampusFab (ground floor – building U4). The club is opened to any UPS students interested in the development of small robotic systems as well as human-robot interaction applications. Each member is trained to use the available equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutting,… allowing him/her to take part in motivating team projects. Knowledge sharing and mutual support are at the heart of the club’s policy.

The club participates at various communication actions on robotics like the european night of researchers, the industry week, FABLAB festival , MIDINNOV ,…) and was involved recently in the national project POPPY in close collaboration with the association Science Animation. At mid term, the association’s ambition is to participate at a robotic national competition in order to offer a wider visibility to its robotics projects.
